Document Controller – Residential Developer

East London - Temporary Position

We are currently working with a leading residential developer, who are looking to expand their team in the London area by bringing in a Document Controller. The business has offices and developments across the UK. They are an industry leader, and have won awards ranging from resident satisfaction, to quality of work.

Responsibilities:

The role will involve managing the developer’s internal database, ensuring that all documents are uploaded as appropriate. Alongside this, you will manage access to and updating the information & documents as needed.

Other duties will include:
•    Manage the document tracking process
•    Report any issues in the flow of information to appropriate seniors
•    Ensure documents are distributed to relevant parties
•    Assist in any ad-hoc duties as required by senior team members

Candidates should possess experience as a Document Controller. This would preferably be gained within a residential developer, however applications from other construction and Document Controller backgrounds are welcomed. Additionally, candidates should be well organised, skilled in planning for both themselves and others, and have strong attention to detail across all aspects of work.
The candidate should be a strong team player, and an assertive individual. They should be capable of influencing others and building strong relationships and networks – both internally and externally.
