Contracts Manager – Residential Developer – Dorest – up to £95,000 + package + Benefits

We are currently working with 5 Star Residential House builder, who have tasked us with attracting a Contracts Manager, to join their experienced existing Construction team, to oversee multiple design lead residential developments in Dorest, Hampshire and the surrounding areas. 

Out client typically produces around 400, high quality traditional build residentially units a year, and are looking to step up their productivity in the near future. Our client is ideally looking for an individual with experience overseeing the construction of multiple sites

Key tasks include:

• Helping to appoint an appropriate team of subcontractors to carry out the delivery phases of your given projects, and manage them throughout the process.
• Ensuring that your project is completed efficiently and within a manageable time frame, by arranging regular progress reports, and compiling information from internal teams.
• Monitor site performance in line with the build programme and address any issues causing delays
• Effectively manage the site management team and ensure they are fully resourced with clear guidelines of their own responsibilities whilst providing full support to achieve their deadlines as well as providing effective communication, training and development
• Ensuring that NHBC and Building Regulation standards and guidelines are met and ensure

Our client is looking for someone with a good working knowledge of all aspects of construction and housebuilding and is up to date with current legislative requirements in regards to NHBC requirements, Building Regulations and Health and Safety. You will be primary point of escalation for operational, technical and health and safety issues on site, and will need to be proactive to resolve these issues as they arise.
